Sohar University‘s Career Guidance Services (CGS) is organizing the Training Fair 2024, which will take place on the university campus on Monday, February 26, 2024, and run until February 29, 2024, targeting students and graduates.
The fair includes an exhibition of institutions, in which 16 entities from different sectors participate. Sohar Aluminium Company participates as a sponsor for the event. Ten workshops will be organized and presented by several experts and specialists. Providing these workshops helps prepare and inform the students about the requirements of current and potential opportunities in the labor market. Certificates will be provided to attendees of the workshops, in addition to daily draws for some prizes. The fair will be under the patronage of Sohar’s Deputy Wali, Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Shihab Al Balushi.
The fair is organized to enhance the critical role played by Career Guidance Services (CGS) at the university in terms of preparing and empowering students and providing them with the skills required in the labor market. CGS provides students with the necessary internship and career opportunities and various workshops.
