The Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Sohar University participates in the activities of the Gulf Traffic Week in North Al Batinah Governorate. It was established by the Sohar Traffic Department, led by the North Al Batinah Governorate Police.
The Traffic Week exhibition was opened on the first day at the Safeer Mall in Sohar by His Excellency Sheikh Muhanna bin Saif Al Lamki, Governor of North Al Batinah, who toured the exhibition, which included models of Arab Gulf driving licenses and Gulf vehicle number plates. Autonomous driving, the simulator, and certain traffic safety initiatives and models were also assessed. A video about driving safety was shown at the ceremony.
