Sohar University participated in the introductory forum for higher education institutions, in the Governorate of South Al Batinah – Wilayat of Mussanah, on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Mussanah. The event was sponsored by His Excellency Khalifa bin Ali Al Kalbani, Assistant Director General for Education Affairs at South Al Batinah School.
The university’s participation in the forum came to achieve several goals, including increasing the bonds of cooperation between Sohar University and the education directorates, as well as opening the door to community partnerships and community service by raising the awareness of students and their parents about the university’s programs and specializations and registration methods. The forum is considered a link between the university and school students by presenting rich information about the university, its facilities, and the specializations it embraces.
The forum was organized by the General Directorate of Education in the South Al Batinah Governorate, in cooperation with the Career Advisor Platform, and with the participation of a number of governmental and private higher education institutions in the Sultanate, and targeted 11-12 grade students and their parents.
