Biography
I am currently working as an English Language Lecturer at Sohar University in Oman. My educational background and extensive professional experience have equipped me with a robust foundation in language education.

I hold a Master of Education from the University of Toronto, specializing in Language, Literacies, and Higher Education. Additionally, I earned a Master of Arts in TESOL and Applied Linguistics from London Metropolitan University, UK. My academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Sindh, Pakistan. To further enhance my teaching qualifications, I obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from AIOU, Pakistan, and a CELTA certificate from the University of Cambridge.

I have over 15 years of teaching and administrative experience in various educational institutions. Since September 2022, I have been an English Lecturer at Sohar University, Oman, teaching the General Foundation Program (English), IELTS, and specialized English courses for engineering, business, and IT students. My responsibilities include developing instructional materials, preparing lesson plans, assessing student progress, and providing individualized support.

Before joining Sohar University, I taught at the University of Technology and Applied Sciences (UTAS) in Ibri, Oman, where I handled the General Foundation Program and IELTS preparation. From 2016 to 2022, I was an instructor at Greystone College/ILSC Education Group in Toronto, Canada, teaching General English, English for Academic Purposes, and English for Business Communication.

Earlier in my career, I served as an English Language Instructor and Coordinator at the University of Buraimi, Oman, and as an English Lecturer at the School of Business and Commerce in the UK. These roles involved curriculum development, student performance assessment, and providing guidance to international students.

Throughout my career, I have remained committed to continuous professional development, regularly participating in workshops and training sessions to stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in language education.
