The Sohar University team, represented by Ms Aaisha Al Balushi ( Chemical Engineering student) and Professor Rajamohan Natarajan (mentor), Faculty of Engineering, participated in the Finals as Top 5 finalist in the 3rd GPCA Innovation Competition: Race towards Agri-Sustainability, 14th GPCA Agri-Nutrients Conference, from 10-12 September 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The project titled “Sustainable agriculture technology embedded with novel biomass-based growth matrix and smart irrigation monitoring system’’ was presented as a working model.
