The IEEE Sohar University Student Branch organized a workshop titled “Mobile App Development Platform: From Native to No-Code” on Wednesday, 23rd October 2024. The workshop was led by Dr. Fakhrul Hazman Bin Yusoff, a distinguished faculty member from the Faculty of Business.
During the session, Dr. Fakhrul Hazman explored various approaches to mobile app development, ranging from traditional native coding to modern no-code platforms. The workshop provided attendees with valuable insights into the strengths and limitations of each approach. Dr. Fakhrul also conducted live demonstrations, offering a practical comparison between different platforms. These demos helped participants assess the advantages and disadvantages of each method in terms of flexibility, scalability, and development time.
The workshop aimed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape of mobile app development, empowering them to make informed decisions about which platforms best suit their project needs.
