Sustainable Development Goals Workshop

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Sohar University, Prof. Wan Hamidon, presented an interesting workshop under the activities of the Environment Club, Faculty of Engineering. The title of the workshop is “Sustainable Development Goals”. The students from the Faculty of Engineering attended this workshop that was held in Barka Building, Sohar University, on Thursday, 30-11-2023, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM.  The event is coordinated by Prof. Rajamohan Natarajan, Dr. Osama Ibrahim and Ms Hajir Al Hindasi, from FE staff members. He emphasised the importance of embedding the SDGs into the Graduate Attributes, which should lead to the reform in the curriculum content, delivery, and assessments so that SU can meet the international benchmark concerning the SDGs. He cited interesting real examples of how engineers’ work has impacted the environment and socio-economy.
