Dr. Jabar Yousif of the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Sohar University presented a working paper titled Designing Sustainable Solutions for Omani tourism based on Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies: The Smart Museum, in collaboration with international trainer for administrative sciences, Dr. Issa Al Balushi, who spoke about the role of artificial intelligence in improving the real estate sector.
Dr. Jabar discussed how artificial intelligence technology and the Fourth Industrial Revolution (robotics, the Internet of Things, virtual reality, and 3D printing) may be used to boost the efficiency of Oman’s tourism sector, increase e-commerce and marketing, and attract international tourists. The working paper was favorably appreciated by the delegates and was included in the forum’s suggestions about the importance of future application in Omani museums and the tourist sector.
