A group of fourth-year civil engineering students from Sohar University successfully organized the highly anticipated Bridge Truss Challenge, a dynamic and engaging co-curricular activity designed to put engineering principles to the test. The event encouraged engineering students to merge their technical knowledge, creativity, and collaborative skills to construct the most resilient popsicle stick bridge. The competition featured 12 teams, each comprising 4-5 students, all tasked with designing and building a structurally sound bridge capable of withstanding a rigorous loading test.
Throughout the event, the teams worked diligently to apply engineering concepts and showcase their innovative problem-solving abilities. The challenge proved to be a great success, with all 12 teams successfully completing the task and demonstrating impressive skill and teamwork.
