Sohar University concluded the activities of the 15th International Scientific Forum, hosted in collaboration with the “ARID Scientific Platform,” under the theme: “University Innovation and Comprehensive Development.” This forum, the first of its kind in Oman.
The closing session featured a scientific symposium titled “University Innovation and Comprehensive Development,” which included three key lectures:
- “The Role of Academic Innovation in Promoting Sustainable Development” by Dr. Saif Al-Suwaidi.
- “The Methodology of Innovation and Business Incubators at Sohar University” by Prof. Ghassan Al-Kindi.
- “University Innovation and Its Role in Development” by Prof. Mahmoud Nadeem.
Additionally, a workshop was held on “Modern Trends in Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers” led by Prof. Hidaya Al-Sheikh Ali. The forum also included two research sessions and 33 research presentations. Participants, researchers, and contributors to the forum were honored at the closing ceremony. The event provided a unique opportunity for academics and researchers from around the world to exchange knowledge and expertise.
