Sohar University conducted a unique program called “Content Pioneers” from February 22 to 24, 2024, as an innovative and engaging step. The program, coordinated by the University’s Department of Communication and Marketing, sought to improve and expand the talents of its students and alumni in the field of media content development.
Ms. Abir Al Jabri, the manager of the University’s Communication and Marketing Department, presented a workshop on content marketing, and Mr. Ahmed Bassiouni, an expert and certified trainer in content creation and digital media, presented a workshop on creating new digital content. Muhammad Al-Hinai, the presenter of the “Karak” podcast and a university alumni, gives a workshop on the podcast industry. The initiative’s goal is to encourage students and empower them to create innovative and successful media content, and the workshops feature interactive activities that address all facets of content development. The initiative’s target audience includes university alumni as well as students with an interest in digital media disciplines.
The effort is succeed in improving students’ skills in developing media material and creative writing. It helps to raise students’ consciousness and understanding by creating relevant and helpful information for society. This event demonstrates the university’s dedication to enhancing students’ talents and equipping them to be leaders in the field of media content creation.
