Biography
Dr Jeremy Brown received his doctorate in Information Systems from the University of Sunderland (UK), where he investigated factors affecting use of telecentres in rural communities. He has spent over 20 years teaching and researching in Information Systems, eLearning, IT Governance and Community Informatics. He has taught internationally at universities in; Saudi Arabia, UK, Japan, Singapore, New Zealand and Ireland. In 2005 he joined Universiti Brunei Darussalam where he played a central role in the implementation of eLearning systems in higher education throughout Brunei. He joined Sohar University in September 2018 as an Assistant Professor within the MIS group, he also works as the MBA program Coordinator within the Faculty of Business.
