Dr Shah Md.Safiul Hoque
Biography
Dr. Shah Md. Safiul Hoque is currently an associate professor and serves as the MIS program lead, Faculty of Business, at Sohar University, Sultanate of Oman. He possesses over 20 years of international experience in the higher education sector. He is an expert on student-centered teaching, curriculum development, quality, and administration. He has held leadership roles as a course coordinator, program leader/coordinator, head of the department, acting dean, and various committee members.
His research portfolio includes a number of publications in high-ranking journals. His areas of research publications include, among others, e-government service delivery, community informatics, the digital divide, ICT for development, e-learning, digital business/entrepreneurship, technology adoption, and user perceptions.
He is actively involved in collaborative research and, to date, has been able to secure several research grants from Sohar University in collaboration with Malaysian universities through the Block Funding Program provided by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation.
