Dr Youssef Touhami
Biography
Youssef Touhami is an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at Sohar University, Faculty of Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Before joining Sohar University, he taught at the National Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology, Carthage University, Tunis, Tunisia. His teaching interests include process design and control and chemical process thermodynamics. His research interests are in the fields of chemical and environmental process simulation and optimization, wastewater treatment and reuse, and solid waste conversion to biofuel. Dr Youssef is the author (co-author) of several indexed research papers in the chemical and environmental fields.
