As part of the academic activities of the Faculty of Education and Arts at Sohar University, and with the support of the Postgraduate Centre, PhD students in the Doctor in Philosophy in Education: Ruqayya Al-Balushi, Fatima Al-Abri, Halima Al-Maktoumi, and Salama Al-Siyabi participated in the International Conference on Education: Pioneering Education’s Future, in UAE, under the supervision of Professor Muhammad Al-Alawneh.
The conference covered several themes, including curriculum development and assessment, teacher development and support, instructional design, educational technology and its tools, sustainability in education and its applications, diversity and equality in education, and global perspectives on education.
It was held on Wednesday and Thursday, October 2 and 3, in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, organized by Abu Dhabi University, with the participation of over 150 researchers from various countries. The PhD students presented a research paper titled: “Teachers’ Perceptions Toward Artificial Intelligence Applications and its Relation to Their Educational Practices”.
