Distinguished students a head for training in the Arab Republic of Egypt
Sohar University took part in the student exchange program for training at Al- Obour Institutes in the Arab Republic of Egypt and a number of Arab universities under the supervision of the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity, which started in mid-July 2024. In order to enhance the educational experience and develop students into global citizens. Ammar Al-Kaabi, and Ahmed Al-Essai, a civil engineering student, represent Sohar University at the Obour Institutes.
The students were hosted by the Honorable Eng. Walid Al-Dahshan, Secretary General of Al-Obour Institutes. Students have the chance to improve their abilities and knowledge in their areas of specialization as well as other topics through student exchange programs between Arab universities, which aim to exchange knowledge amongst students of Arab universities. In addition to, learning about the universities and the host nation from a cultural and tourism perspective. The program also included a field trip to the Mattress Company and the Alittihad Aluminum Melt & Mold Facility LLC.
