The Physical Education Program at Sohar University’s Faculty of Education and Arts, in collaboration with the Omani Athletics Association, held a Kids athletics festival under the patronage of Dr. Hamdan Al-Fazari, Vice Chancellor of the University, and in the presence of Dr. Wael Ramadan, Technical Director of the Omani Athletics Association. This took place on campus on November 20, 2023.
The festival comprised a Formula 1 race, an obstacle relay race, a box jumps race, a squat jump race, a medicine ball throwing race from a crouch, and a target shooting race (throwing without turning) for Rawdat Al Falaj Private School kids.
It is worth noting that as a warm-up for the festival, Dr. Wael Mohamed Ramadan gave an athletics training session for Sohar University students.
