Biography

Iman Mohammed Al Shidi earned a bachelor’s degree in English Language and Translation from Sohar University in Oman in 2009. She joined Sohar University in 2009 as a teaching assistant in the faculty of Language Studies. She currently teaches translation and language courses. She is the timetable coordinator for the faculty. She has worked as a research assistant on the TRC-ORG project: Developing a Diagnostic Safety Net: Vocabulary as an EFL Global Proficiency Benchmark, as well as on the SU-SURGE internal funding project, At-Risk University Students in Oman: Effects of Peer Tutoring on Language Proficiency and Academic Performance.
