In partnership with EC-Council, the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology (FCIT) at Sohar University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with EC-Council, a leading company specializing in cybersecurity programs. As a result, Sohar University has been officially recognized as an EC-Council Test Centre (ETC).
Under this agreement, the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology at Sohar University has become an authorized testing center for EC-Council. This agreement allows the inclusion of cybersecurity courses in the students’ curriculum, qualifying them for international certification through evaluation tests conducted by EC-Council at the authorized testing center within the Faculty of Computing and information Technology. Successful candidates will be awarded internationally recognized certificates in various training areas.
These programs aim to enhance the academic and professional prospects of our students, ensuring they are well-prepared to meet the evolving needs of the cybersecurity industry in the job market.
