Biography
Dr. Rajamohan serves as a Professor in the Faculty of Engineering at Sohar University, Oman, and currently leads the Environment Research Theme at the university. His research focuses on novel technologies for pollution control, biofiltration, biofuels, carbon capture, and sustainable food technology.
He is recognized among the world’s top 2% scientists and has an extensive publication record with more than 210 indexed articles in reputed international journals. Dr. Rajamohan has successfully secured and managed multiple major research grants across emerging interdisciplinary fields, including a UK–Gulf Institutional Links Grant on Sustainable Food Production funded by the UK government (USD 0.5 million), along with several grants supported by the Research Council of Oman.
He is the recipient of the National Research Award from the Ministry of Education, Oman, as well as the Outstanding Researcher Award at Sohar University. In addition to his academic contributions, he has mentored over 20 funded student research projects and actively engages in industrial consultancy with leading organizations such as Sohar Port and Majis Industrial Services.
Professor Rajamohan also serves on the editorial boards of several prestigious international journals and is widely recognized as an external expert and reviewer in his field, contributing to the advancement of environmental and sustainable engineering research globally.
