For the second year in a row, Sohar University has made a leap in the QS Arab University Rankings. After a rise of 30 points last year, the University has risen a further 20 points this year and it is now in the 101-110 category. The most important achievement is that the University now ranks 17th in terms of citations of published research papers among all Arab universities, and this indicates the strength of the research papers and the university’s distinguished scientific production.
