Sohar University is hosting the 24th Arab Student Creative Forum with the participation of 36 student research projects from 17 universities and 6 centers and institutes from 8 different countries in the Arab world. Scheduled to take place from November 11th to November 15th, 2023. The opening ceremony will be under the patronage of Her Excellency Professor Rahma bint Ibrahim Al-Mahrooqi, Minister of Higher Education, Research, and Innovation, in the presence of Dr. Hamdan al Fazari and Dr. Fawaz A. AlZaghoul, Director of the Arab Council for Student’s Training and Creativity (ASCTC), along with several invited guests.
This edition of the forum will discuss the role of higher education institutions in economic development across various fields. Furthermore, the forum serves as the final judging stage for the participating research papers and honors the winners.
It is worth noting that Sohar University, in collaboration with the Arab Council for Training and Student Creativity, has prepared a comprehensive program for the forum that aims to provide participants with knowledge and experience, particularly in exploring the culture, landmarks, history, and civilization of the Sultanate of Oman, which extends back through many centuries.
