Sohar University participated as a Bronze Sponsor at the Social Investment Forum, reinforcing social partnerships and supporting social investment. The event was organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and investment Al Batinah North government branch, in collaboration with several institutions in the Sultanate. This took place on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at the Radisson Blu Hotel Suhar, under the patronage of Her Excellency Dr. Mona bint Fahd bin Mahmoud Al Said, Assistant Vice Chancellor of Sultan Qaboos University (SQU).
The forum was attended by various officials from both the public and private sectors, as well as stakeholders interested in investment. Several workshops were held on investment topics, alongside a panel discussion focused on social business investment and prioritization in the Sultanate of Oman, featuring prominent figures in social investment.
