Sohar University secures a research and consultancy grant from the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources

Sohar University was awarded a research and consultancy project by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries Wealth and Water Resources to conduct a socio-economic study of traditional fishermen in Sultanate of Oman. Dr. Hamdan Al Fazari, the Vice Chancellor, Sohar University and Dr. Dawood Al Yahyai, the Director General of Fisheries Research signed a contract for this project which will be implemented by Professor Rakesh Belwal from the Faculty of Business. Professor Ghassan Al Kindi, Pro VC Research and Innovation and Professor Kelvin Joseph Bwalya congratulated Professor Belwal for securing this project.
