Sohar University signed a cooperation agreement with Petroleum Development Oman on contributing to enhancing local added value on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 in the capital, Muscat.
The agreement coincided with the In-Country Value Day celebration organized by PDO. In addition, to be included within a PDO project with a number of government and private institutions in order to develop and build an integrated system for local added value in the Sultanate.
In turn, it aimed to enable Sohar University to build and develop incubators for small and medium-sized companies. thus, the university will develop a program to incubate small and medium-sized companies and promote innovation through the use of technology-based methodologies in support of the knowledge-based economy and the development of the industrial and business sector in the Sultanate.
This will benefit the strengthening of industry in the Sultanate of Oman and the building of a knowledge-based economy.
